Information provided directly

If you buy products from Seed and Essentials, we always ask for the following information from you: first name, last name, postal and billing address, payment details, telephone number and e-mail address. If the recipient is not the sender, we ask for the address of the recipient's name, address, place of residence and telephone number. If you contact us online or offline, we may collect the following information from you such as first name, last name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Special and criminal personal data

Seed and Essentials does not process special or criminal personal data and does not intend to provide Services or to collect data about persons under the age of 16, unless permission has been obtained from parents or guardians. However, Seed and Essentials cannot check whether a Visitor is older than 16 years and therefore advises parents to be involved in the (online) activities of their children in order to prevent data about children from being processed without parental consent. Permission

This permission is obtained through requests by e-mail or other social media, orders via the Website and by registering for the newsletter. If third parties process your data on behalf of Seed and Essentials ("sub-processors"), your explicit permission will be requested in writing and prior to this processing. If you have given permission for the processing of your personal data, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@seedandessentials.com. The processing of personal data before the moment of withdrawal remains lawful on the basis of previously given consent.

Legitimate interest

Seed and Essentials may have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data, for example for marketing purposes but also to advise potential customers. The importance can therefore differ per data processing. Seed and Essentials always weighs its own interests against the interests of the person (s) involved.

Execution of the agreement

In the context of the implementation of the agreement between Seed and Essentials and its customers, it is necessary to process personal data in order to prepare and send your order.

 

5. Purposes of data processing

Seed and Essentials processes personal data for practical reasons such as executing the agreement and communicating with its customers in the broadest sense, processing payments (Mollie), sending the order placed by the Customer (DPD, where no customer data is stored), the keeping its company in good (legal) standing and keeping its administration and invoicing up to date (Mollie). Processing also ensures optimal use of the Website and is based on commercial considerations such as marketing purposes and gaining insight into (unique) visitor numbers and other statistics. Seed and Essentials also processes Personal Data to contact customers and other suppliers, to instruct suppliers and / or to be able to respond to a question / request. For managing and optimizing (monitoring, posting messages and responding to reactions) of social media accounts as well as placing advertisements, for insight into website visitors and search behavior, in order to optimize the website.

 

Newsletter

Seed and Essentials sends newsletters (Mailchimp) to its customers and persons who have registered for this. Name and e-mail address are hereby processed. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time. Once unsubscribed, said data will be deleted immediately.

Account

It is possible to create an account on the Website. To this end, the information provided by the Customer such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number is linked to an account. In the account, the Customer can view his / her order history and the information provided and also place new orders. After closing the account, this data will be deleted immediately.

Other interests

6. Storage Your personal data will no longer be stored on our mail servers and in the back-end of our Website (Wordpress, WooCommerce) than is necessary to achieve the goals described above. Seed and Essentials can keep your personal data longer on the basis of a (legal) obligation and taking into account any limitation periods. Your Personal Data will be stored by Seed and Essentials for a minimum of two years and a maximum of seven years.

This data is kept for seven years as Seed and Essentials is legally obliged to keep this data for seven years for the tax authorities. Seed and Essentials will provide this data structured and machine-readable. Objection

Seed and Essentials takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure obtained Personal Data. Seed and Essentials uses equipment and software to continuously secure its systems and the Website with anti-virus software that complies with the current state of the art.
